When 6-year-old Elena Desserich was diagnosed with brain cancer, she began hiding hundreds of little love notes around the house for her parents to find after she was gone. Here’s the story: Just before her sixth birthday, Elena Desserich (right) was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 135 days to live. She lived 255 days, passing away in 2007. After her death, Elena’s parents, Brooke and Keith, found hundreds of notes from Elena hidden around the house — in between CD cases, between bookshelves, in dresser drawers, in backpacks…. “It just felt like a little hug from her, like she was telling us she was looking over us” Elena left hundreds of notes like these: (via 6-Year-Old Girl with Brain Cancer Hid Love Notes for Her Parents to Find After Her Death - Neatorama)

This is too much
I have to be honest, when Diane first planned this trip I was super skeptical about it, like how we would all feel, and would it be awkward or anything. But it turned out so well. The day before we were just at dessert and we were talking about how I was being super stupid about everything and like saying how I wasn’t comfortable sitting without my cloest friends and whatever, but honestly, it was so fun, and i’m so glad this turned out so well. Just like Jen had said,”Don’t worry, and just have fun!” I can’t believe Nicole went on most of the rollar coasters we went on and she actually had fun =) and i’m really glad I got to know Ada, Lindy, Irene, and all the girls in my car alot more! They’re really cool, and i’ve never had that experience before. My first time to Great America was amazing, and it was so fun. And afterwards, hanging out at Lindy’s and going to Tak Kee for dinner at like 8, was really fun too =) Most def. going to do this again sometime, and we offically went as all the girls! And props to Diane for planning mostly everything, and for her dad and Helen’s dad for driving! :D
hey i always have fun.even on those little rides.and props to nicole for making sure that diane plan for almost everything.
